In these lively workshops Stacey, aka Meet The Moon Designs will teach you how to create beautiful papercut art. Suitable for beginners and equally suitable for anyone who's already tried papercutting and wants to learn new techniques.

Framed Papercutting Pick Your Pattern Workshop - 3.5 hours, suitable for beginners and up; £85 inc VAT per person (sometimes takes place upstairs)

On these fun art workshops you'll create a beautiful papercut scene - all framed to finish off your artwork.

The workshop starts with some practice execises to get you ready to start cutting out your paper according to the designs Stacey has created. Stacey's workshops are often described by attendees as the perfect blend of art and mindfulness!

Themes for 2026 include Highland Cow, Fox In The Woods, Lighthouse, Poppies and Hedgerow - choose on the day
Learn the basics of papercutting including safely using the knife, practising the techniques and then creating your own paper art
Choice of templates ranging from easy to more challenging - suitable for a range of levels
Framing your scene to finish it off
Widely spaced workspaces
Refreshments during the session including herbal teas, decaffeinated drinks & gluten-free biscuits

Seasonal Workshops with Stacey

Colourful Embossed Foil Decoration Making - 2 hours, suitable for beginners and up; £75 inc VAT per person

Join us for a wonderfully festive 2-hour workshop and create a beautiful collection of shimmering silver and gold embossed decorations for your tree.

This is such a joyful, relaxing craft that’s perfect for everyone. It’s simple to learn, needs very little equipment, and creates stunning results. Stacey will guide you step-by-step through the whole process, so absolutely no experience is needed.

Come along for a cosy, creative couple of hours, (choose from a morning or afternoon session) enjoy some refreshments, and leave with a selection of elegant handmade decorations to treasure or gift this Christmas

Create several gliottering decorations for your tree to keep

About Stacey Young, aka. Meet The Moon Designs - Papercut Artist
Papercut artist Stacey Young at Vitreus Art

I’m a papercutting artist and Illustrator based in Buckinghamshire. I love cutting paper (or ‘Kirigami’ as it’s called in Japan) and specialise in making beautiful creations using only a single sheet of paper and a knife – everything is hand cut, no laser machines here!

After a long career within the creative industry, I decided to become a papercutting artist full time and in 2018 I started running my papercutting workshops, craft parties and corporate events teaching others how to have a go themselves. Inspiration for my designs comes from everywhere and my love of typography, architecture and nature is often reflected in my work.
