Fun Glass Fusing - creating your own hand-made glass Christmas Tree decorations, suitable for beginners and those who want to do some more!

On this workshop you'll make several jolly decorations in time for Christmas, and learn about the basics of glass fusing, as well as having fun!

This glass fusing workshop starts of with a base of piece of clear fusible glass then adding coloured crushed glass (called 'frit') and decorating with enamels to create fused glass pieces.

You'll get to make around 8 decorations during the session - choose one or two Penguin-Santas, stars, mini Christmas trees, plus a snowperson, or Father Christmas Head, or similar (all about 10cm high).
All are suitable for giving as gifts or of hanging on your own Christmas tree

There's no glass cutting required on this class and it really is suitable for total beginners.

We start by looking at the materials you'll be using and examples we've made.

After a demonstration showing how to get started you'll assemble and decorate your pieces. There's a huge range of frits and enamels for you to choose from so your finished Christmas decorations will all be unique.

Your decorations will be fired in our kilns and will be ready to collect 1-2 weeks after..

The course cost of £89 inc VAT includes:

• Pre-cut clear fusible glass, frit, enamel pens and stringers to make your decorations
• Pre-cut penguin-santa pieces to assemble (new for 2026)
• Use of all tools and apron
• Refreshments during the session including herbal teas, decaffeinated drinks & gluten-free biscuits plus Christmas treats
• Maximum class size 6 people for individual attention
• Kiln firing
• All your work to keep, after firing
• Eligibility for our Project Days Programme
• Class runs for approx 3 hours (approx) at our Northants studio near Towcester
• Classes run at the times shown at our Northants studio
