Marlene Snee - Watercolour and Mixed Media Paintings
Marlene Says:
"I have loved drawing and painting ever since I can remember and as the demands of bringing up a family lessened, I have been able to dedicate more time to art.
The inspiration for my paintings comes from my love of nature, my local countryside and some of the wonderful places I have visited around the world.
Most of my work is painted in watercolour, as I am fascinated by the wonderful luminosity of colour and the slight unpredictability of this medium, which makes it very exciting.
I also enjoy painting in pastels as well as mixed media to portray my subject matter.
I am a member of the Society for All Artists, The Fellowship of Professional and Amateur Artists, Kettering and District Art Society and Rushden and District Art Society. "
