Make two fun fused glass gnomes on this lively half-day workshop - suitable for beginners
On this workshop you'll create a pair of groovy fused glass gnomes like the ones we sell in the gallery.
You'll also get an introduction to some of the basics of glass fusing - a gentle way in to a craft many of our students have gone on to enjoy developing in their own home.
You'll learn how to cut and shape the pieces of coloured fusible glass you'll need to make each section of your gnomes and then lay the pieces out so they will fuse properly together. Every gnome made will be individual!
Your gnomes will be made from scections of clear and coloured fusible glass, which you'll cut to shape - don't worry - we'll teach uou how! You'll also decorate your gnomes with enamels to give them more personality. Your gomes will be ready for collection after firing - usually in a few days' time.
A fun way to spend half a day, and a lovely pair of fused glass gnomes to enjoy at home!
The course cost of £85 inc VAT per person includes:
- Coloured fusible glass to choose from
- Use of all tools and apron
- Expert tuition from Jenny
- Refreshments during the workshop
- Maximum class size 5 people for individual attention
- Kiln firings
- All your work to keep, after all firings are complete
- Morning session runs from 10.30 to 1.30pm (approx)
- Afternoon session runs from 2pm to 5pm (approx)
- Classes run at our Northants studio near Towcester
