Make a colourful fused glass suncatcher on this fun half-day workshop - suitable for beginners
On this workshop you'll create a stunning fused glass suncatcher like the ones we sell in the gallery. We call these Colour Bursts!
You'll also gain an insight in to some of the basics of glass fusing - a gentle introduction to a craft many of our students have gone on to enjoy developing in their own home.
You'll learn how to cut and shape the pieces of coloured fusible glass you'll need to make each layer of your suncatcher and then lay the pieces out so they will fuse properly together. We guarantee that every suncatcher made will be unique!
Your suncatcher is made up of two layers ensuring each side has wonderfully rich texture.
Each side will be fused separately and then bonded together when fired.
Your suncatcher will be ready for collection in a few days.
A fun way to spend a morning, and a lovely piece of fused glass to enjoy at home!
The course cost of £75 inc VAT per person includes:
- Coloured fusible glass in many shades to choose from
- Use of all tools and apron
- Refreshments during the workshop
- Maximum class size 5 people for individual attention
- Both kiln firings
- All your work to keep, after all firings are complete
- Morning session runs from 10.30 to 1.30pm (approx)
- Classes run at our Northants studio near Towcester
