March 2010 - Venue agreed for Herts Open Studios, September

February 2010 - New class dates set for Albion Arts, Harpenden

We've just agreed more class dates with Albion Arts.
Albion's persuasive owner Joanna Mason has even talked us into doing a class just before Christmas - where we'll be teaching you how to make stained glass Christmas trees and stars.
For those with a bah-humbug attitude to Christmas (like Mike) you can make a piece with one of our non-seasonal designs instead!
New dates are:

• Sat July 24th 9-45am to 5-30pm
• Sun November 7th 9-45am to 5-30pm
• Sat December 4th 9-45am to 5-30pm

February 2010 - Demo day dates set for Rowans Gallery and Living Crafts, Hatfield House

We're continuing our series of demo days with two new dates.
The first is at Living Crafts, Hatfield House, on the 8th May. We'll be demonstrating alongside a number of other HVAF glass artists at one of the largest and best-known crafts events in the region.

January 2010 - New one-day stained glass class dates for Brackley

We've just agreed two further class dates with Rowans Gallery, Brackley. We're now taking bookings for places on 21st August and 23rd October. Visit our classes page to see what you'll be learning, what attendees have said about the class, and for booking options!

We're delighted that two of our new pieces (below) have been selected for Obsidian Art's Trees, Woods, Land & Sea exhibition, opening on Jan 7th.

December 2009 - New pieces with sea / watery theme added

Have a look at these two: Atlantic Rain and Salty Spray - two pieces exploiting the texture of Spectrum waterglass and using our new skeleton frame idea to make subtle and compact wall pieces.

Not too many details as yet, because we're in process of agreeing venue details etc, but dates of some of our events are now online. Keep a look out for more info in our newsletters in early 2010.

We've just agreed some 2010 dates with the two venues we currently work with:
Rowans Gallery in Brackley, Northants:

• Sat 6th March 9-45am to 5-30pm £95 per person
• Sat 5th June 9-45am to 5-30pm £95 per person

Albion Arts near Harpenden, Herts:

• Sat 30th January 9-45am to 5-30pm £90 per person
• Sat 17th April 9-45am to 5-30pm £90 per person
• Sat 22nd May 9-45am to 5-30pm £90 per person

Nov 09 - New pieces selected for Obsidian Art's forthcoming Winter Wonders show

We're delighted to have been selected to provide 4 pieces for this winter-themed exhibition, beginning on the 12th November. Included in the selection is Winter in Red Square, below.

Oct 09 - Meet the Artists evening at Rowans Gallery - 21st November

We'll be among several of the artists currently showing their work at Rowans Gallery in Brackley. Proprietor Sally Eaton is celebrating her gallery's first birthday, so do pop along, meet the artists, and see what's new in the gallery! 6-30 to 8-30pm.

Oct 09 - New large piece with a sea theme

Visitors to our recent Open Studios will have seen this piece in its work-in-progress state. Well, here it is finished and mounted for window or wall-hanging...it's called Cornish Surf and is 750mm high. Click on the image for info and bigger photos.

Oct 09 - Demo Day at Ginny Gray Gallery - 5th December

Sept 09 - Vitreus Art pieces on show at Ginny Gray Gallery, Buckingham

We hope you'll get a chance to visit Ginny & Rob Gray's new gallery in Bridge Street, Buckingham. The gallery has just opened and has a selection of contemporary work from a range of local artists including us.

We've come up with some more simple pieces that seem to be well received at art and craft fairs. We're still committed to making larger statement pieces of course; in fact there are two nearing completion right now. Look out for these anon!

Sept 09 - HVAF Open Studios in Wendover almost upon us
